MFVP held Good Agricultural practice training on 18-19th July, 2016 at the department of trade promotion and consumer afair,Monywa, Sagaing Division, cooperation with Mekong Institute, supported by Newzealand AID. Capacity Building Workshop on Value Chain Development

MFVP held Capacity building workshop on value chain development at Sein Lae Tin Resort, Kyite Hto, Mon on 18-19th November, 2015, supported by GIZ. U Soe Than Min Din, Chairperson of MFVP, gave opening speak to all participants who are secretaries, EC/CEC, members of MFVP and other pomelo growers from Mon state, and all together 50 participants joined to workshop.

Data collection on Dry zone melon

Under value chain upgrading project which is funded by USAID and Winrock International for melon in dry zone, Myanmar chairperson of melon cluster - U Naing Win, and vice-chairperson of melon cluster- U San Linn did field visit and met with melon farmers at their farms together with technicine, and gave them training about farm data collection on 12-13th March 2016. Integarated Pest Management (IPM) on Vegetable Crops

Intergrated pest management (IPM) training was held on 15-16th March 2016 at the training hall of UMFCCI, as one of the farmer to farmer programs, cooperated with Winrock International, supported by USAID. The trainer was Dr. Surendra Kumar Dara who is expert in Strawberry, and Vegetable crops, and works as advisor at the university of California cooperative extension. During the training, 40 trainees joined.
